YVES LAROCHE
Yves Laroche, President, brings to CARBOSPHERE an expertise in the field of polymers, acquired through his technical studies, then by working for multinationals (1997-2008), then as an entrepreneur (since 2008). In 2012-2013, managing an R&D project for a client to produce a cleaner carbon black allowed him to acquire know-how in the production of carbon-based additives. Yves Laroche first worked as a process technician/continuous process improvement manager (Kaisen).
He then moved from production to marketing of resins, additives and colorants.
Throughout his career, he has developed good business relationships with suppliers, processors, customers and research centers and has built an excellent reputation. In addition to the presidency, Mr. Laroche is also Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Carbosphere.
PIERRE BRETON
Pierre Breton brings thirty-five years of business experience to CARBOSPHERE. A fluently bilingual entrepreneur, investor and consultant, Pierre Breton’s business knowledge and experience has been gained through a series of increasingly complex challenges in helping small and medium-sized businesses start up, turn around or prosper.
Uman Pharma is a good example of a company he co-founded and managed the growth of; the company had approximately one hundred and twenty employees when it was sold.
Pierre Breton has been involved in the strategic planning of numerous companies and in several business relationships, strategic alliances and international financing. He also brings valuable expertise in R&D, project management and intellectual property protection. As Executive Vice President, Dr. Breton combines the responsibilities of Vice President, Technology and Legal Affairs.
JEAN LASSELLE – CFO
Jean Lasselle brings to Carbosphere 35 years of experience in business development, sales and financial management to help the company grow and become more profitable.
As a management consultant to manufacturing, commercial, real estate and service SMEs, Jean Lasselle is an experienced professional in international development, financing and real estate. A creative leader, autonomous, with integrity and an open mind, he is an excellent negotiator whose vast experience facilitates the identification of business opportunities as well as the realization of existing projects on time and within budget.
